Meet the Owner
Hi, I’m Darshan— creator and lead tutor at Tutoring Maphy.
Since 2016, I’ve worked mainly with high school and college‑prep students from the US, UK, and elsewhere, covering math, physics and SAT prep. Before starting Tutoring Maphy, I also collaborated as a freelance educator with several US‑based edtech companies, and currently hold a Top 1% Educator badge on Upwork.
My background is in electrical engineering, but most of what I know about teaching came from real sessions: explaining complex ideas in simpler ways, building problem‑solving habits, and adapting across seven different time zones. Outside live classes, I produce video content for YouTube, build courses for platforms like Udemy, and write blogs for our website.
