Meet the Owner
Darshan is the creator and lead tutor at Tutoring Maphy.
Since 2016, I’ve worked mainly with high school and college‑prep students following the US high school curriculum. Before starting Tutoring Maphy, I also collaborated as a freelance educator with several US‑based edtech companies, and currently hold a Top 1% Educator badge on Upwork.
My background is in electrical engineering, but most of what I know about teaching came from real sessions: explaining complex ideas in simpler ways, building problem‑solving habits, and adapting across seven different time zones. Outside live classes, I produce video content for YouTube and build courses for platforms like Udemy.

Tutoring Maphy is supported by a team of subject specialists who teach AP courses, SAT, and high school subjects. Every tutor is selected for strong subject expertise, clear communication, and a student-first approach. While I continue to lead the academic direction of Tutoring Maphy, our team allows us to provide expert support across multiple AP subjects and learning needs.
